All our instructors understand how important the process of learning and practicing yoga is. Inspiring and encouraging students without pressure is one approach used to get the best out of every student. Many students have improved dramatically and gained useful yoga knowledge under their guidance. The instructors may have different teaching styles but all are known as being among the most experienced and qualified in the country.
A continuing effort aimed at improving our studio is by occasionally inviting internationally qualified instructors to introduce new yoga styles or share expertise with our members.

I started my journey in yoga after I had a lower back pain on my spine after giving birth to my second child. A friend of mine suggested me to start doing yoga as it can help the spine problem. So I started looking around and my yoga journey began by the end of year 2004. I have been practicing yoga for almost 10 years now. Through my practice from few different yoga disciplines I took few workshop and teachers trainings, and became a certified Ashtanga teacher in 2007 after I took 200h teachers training at Samahita Yoga Thailand in Koh Samui. Beside that I took Training for Sun Yoga that focuses on teaching children.? In addition to that, I also took Hatha flow training from Stephen Thomas.
Since 2007 I have been focusing more on teaching Ashtanga led class, as I want the student to learn to breathe precisely, not only focusing on their alignment. For me, yoga is about the inner changes and awareness.? My passion is to share the positive effects yoga has had upon my life in hopes of continuing this positive effect among others.

Kyra said that: ?For me…yoga makes me feel better. Practicing the postures, breathing and meditation makes you feel good, body, mind and soul, makes you feel lighter, calmer, stronger, flexible and happier. I think, through yoga, it helps us to manage our body posture too. We learn about awareness, we learn to have a better way to manage our emotions and reactions, for what we’ve been dealing with in everyday life. And it builds healthier eating habits too (at least for me).?
Last year Kyra taught at the Village Camps (summer camp) in Singapore, as the Art Craft teacher and this year in June-July she will return to the camp as an art craft teacher and a kids yoga teacher.? She will start teaching yoga for kids at Rumah Yoga in August 2014.
